Man Drowns At Lake Cumberland

Crews in Pulaski County have recovered the body of a man who jumped into Lake Cumberland on Sunday night and never came back up.

According to the Pulaski County Coroner, it appears the 43-year-old victim did a back flip off of a 40-foot cliff and hit something on his way down.

It took crews about 20 minutes to find the man's body. His name has not been released.

The coroner said this is the third drowning at the lake in the last ten months.

The Pulaski County coroner said George John Fiorini, 42, was pulled from the lake Sunday evening.

The coroner said it appears that Fiorini did a back flip off of a 40-foot cliff and hit something on his way down. It took crews about 20 minutes to find his body.
