FISHING REPORT
Walleye are being caught at night and on cloudy days by casting jigs and crankbaits and trolling bottom bouncers and crankbaits off the shoreline and bluff walls. Stripers continue to bite fair on live bait near the mouths of major creeks and main lake off the channels and flats 10-25 feet down by planner board, down rod and bottom fishing methods. Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass are being caught in main lake pockets and in the creeks on crankbaits, spinnerbaits and jerkbaits. Below the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery and in the Cumberland River, Rainbow and Brown Trout can be caught on spinners, salmon eggs, night crawlers, and corn..
