Lake Cumberland Camping Areas
There is currently a firewood quarantine. To protect our forest NO FIREWOOD transported from out of state is allowed. This is to stop the transportation of the Asian longhorn beetle and the Sirex woodwasp. Once transported, both insects can kill local trees.
Camping at Lake Cumberland
All Corps of Engineers campgrounds on Lake Cumberland are convenient to day use picnic sites, boat ramps, shower houses, bathrooms, washer and dryers, playgrounds, etc.
Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance of your camping stay. Site-specific reservations can be made at Kendall, Cumberland Point, Fishing Creek and Waitsboro Recreation Areas by calling 1-877-444-6777 or visiting the National Recreation Reservation Service web site at www.Recreation.gov
