The SEC does not ever travel out of the southeast to play out of conference games. When is the last time FL, GA, LSU, or ALA, went out of the
southeastern US to play any out of conference big games, minus the bowl games? Few and far between. Not a buckeye fan but they, and other Big Ten
teams have home and away games against the likes of USC, Texas, California, Oregon. Look at FL's schedule the last five years.

**Alabama played Virginia Tech this year...won 34 - 24
**Arkansas played Texas A&M ....won 47-19
**Auburn played West Virginia....Won 41-30....one of Big Leasts Best and I think UK beat Auburn at Auburn..hmmm
**Florida will play Florida State and they can't help it if they suck.
** Georgia played OK stat and lost and played Az st and won and will play #7 Ga Tech
** UK played UL and won and can't help that they suck. When contracts were signed UL thought they were good
**LSU played at Washington and won
**South Carolina beat NC State and will play #23 Clemson
** TN lost to UCLA
** Vandy lost to GA Tech
When the Big Ten mans up and gets a conference championship game then you might see SEC playing them some but for now why??? Nothing to gain. Why
doesn't Big 10 +1 play championship game. OSU and Mich afraid to play each other twice in one year.

Strength of schedule so far this year. If SEC played Big 10 teams it would hurt their SOS....
CONFERENCE CENTRAL MEAN SIMPLE AVERAGE TEAMS
1 PAC-10 (A) = 79.75 78.73 ( 2) 10
2 SOUTHEASTERN (A) = 78.99 79.39 ( 1) 12
3 ATLANTIC COAST (A) = 77.23 76.90 ( 3) 12
4 BIG EAST (A) = 76.98 76.76 ( 4) 8
5 BIG 12 (A) = 74.03 74.75 ( 5) 12
6 BIG TEN (A) = 72.94 73.38 ( 6) 11
7 I-A INDEPENDENTS (A) = 71.77 69.97 ( 7) 3
8 MOUNTAIN WEST (A) = 69.28 69.95 ( 8) 9
9 WESTERN ATHLETIC (A) = 66.32 66.91 ( 9) 9
10 CONFERENCE USA (A) = 65.00 64.54 ( 10) 12

I see 4 games in the previous post where an SEC team went out of the Southeastern United States to play a road game. Arkansas at Texas-bordering
state, GA at OSU, LSU @ Wash, and TN @ UCLA. ALA @ Vtech, AU@WVU, SC@NCS,Vandy@GAtech. All games played in the southeast. Florida wasn't even
mentioned. All I am saying is the bigger SE programs never leave the southeast. As far as the Big 10 champ game, don't understand it, they should
have one. As far as Mich playing in it, they won't see it for the next several years, the only Big 10 win they have this year is against IU and that
was stolen from IU by the refs.

What in the world does geography have to do with anything. Arkansas used to be in the Big 12 and the Texas AM game is huge rivalry. Florida will
be playing Florida St. Do you know how much money it takes for a football team to travel? Condisdering how tough the SEC is why should they schedule
anyone else?

Rather be a little fish in a big pond than a big fish in a little pond. I will tell you I have wished many times that UK was in the Big Ten, aCC, or
Big East in football. We would definatley have a better chance. So I do agree with you 100% We have to have something to argue about on here. I am and SEC fan though and root for every SEC team in Bowl
games. I also used to attend tons of SEC games that did not involve UK.

Expense of traveling, you think these bigger teams care about the expense. Just would like to see FL or LSU play a more competitive out of conference
schedule. I guess scheduling FIU late in the SEC season is their version of a tough game. KU in the big ten would fare no better than Minnesota or Northwestern in football.

I get what you are saying but, if you play in the SEC your out of conference schedule is the least of your problems. That might be a big deal for the
Big 10 but if the conference is anything like it used to be, it shouldn't be an issue. If Ohio State and Penn State is all the competition there is
then going across country to play USC is a big deal. But, If Michigan, Michican State, Wisconson and some of the others were playing up to par, then
out of conference would not be an issue.

Dude what part of this can't you understand....they are SECOND right in strength of schedule...they do not need to schedule anyone to prove
anything..unfortunatley the big 10 has to because the conference is so vanilla and weak. Please tell me what advantage it would provide them to play
OSU? Please answer this one wuestion in your next post..your argument is like a fighter that has been whipped by the champ 3 or 4 times...you know
you won't get a shot so you say he is afraid to fight you.

The same old hot air comes from the "UK"...ugh I mean SEC....ugh I mean "UK" fans EVERY year. Come on you sports history nuts. Look back over
the course of the last umpteen years in college football. Notice one CONSTANT thing??? Ohio State 99% of the time right smack dab in the thick of
things. SO what the SEC has had a couple of years being at the top. Do it for a couple of decades and get back to me. Until then PICK A FREAKING
TEAM already and quit bragging about how tough your conference is, how bad you are beating everyone, and how bad the Big Ten is. YOU WILL NEVER HEAR
a Buckeye fan say a word about the Big Ten. We root for our team. PERIOD. We don't need to ride the conference bandwagon just because our team
sucks so bad we need to root for someone.
Oh wait.....I forgot the UK motto. If UK was in the Big Ten they would be undefeated every year. LMAO!!!!!!!!! Bring it.
As far as conference tournaments go? What benefit is there to the Big 10 or OSU?????? I can't help it there is 30? some odd teams in the SEC. But
I will be rooting for one of them..... GO TIDE!!!!! I can't wait for Tebow to graduate and join the rest of the SEC benchwarmers in the NFL.

DUDE.....Why do you have to hang your hat on the "conference". What part of Florida does not travel out of the southeast to play football games do
YOU not understand. That is a huge advantage, I am not talking about the rest of the "conference," although they don't travel much either.
Scheduling a cupcake like FIU mid-season is a joke.
