Today marks the 7th anniversary of this forum (in it's current form) - Cumberline actually had another flavor of this forum running before this
one.
Thank you Jerry for creating this way cool space for us all to connect.

Hard to think about an anniversary without getting sad for a few moments remembering Jerry/Cumberline - Thanks for your efforts, and for giving me the
chance to be a part of it.
Happy Anniversary lccom, and to our wonderful group of members that now number over 4K (4078 to be exact at this writing), thanks for being a part of
this forum and for behaving (most of the time) so well - it's you that make this job so much fun and interesting.
Hate that eight mile drive home!

One of my big regrets in life is not meeting Cumberline and thanking him in person for this great web site. I started "lurking" in 2005 after a
forum member told me about all the great information you can get on here. Quit "lurking" in 06 after I posted a short message to Captain Bob and got
a super nice reply. Now, I can't stop. Its like an addiction.
Anyway, Happy Anniversary LakeCumberland.com and thanks to everyone for letting me be a small part of it.
If you take life too seriously...your going to get a real hoot out of being dead.

Seven years has gone by awfully fast.
Not only did Cumberline have a good idea with this site and especially this Forum, he had a lot of good insight as to what it took to make it a
"great" site that folks would want to log-in to time after time.

Surprise birthday ----- I certainly remember when we started the forum, but did not have a clue as to the date. Congratulations to all of you for it
is you who have made the forum so successful over the years and Jerry appreciated all of you very much. Jerry had some real reservations about
starting the forum, because he had been involved in several in the past and did not know if he could control himself enough to keep himself in line.
Looking forward to meeting all of you and before the summer is over certainly plan to do so.
