As had been announced throughout September 08, this popular Trading Post forum has been supplanted (beginning Oct 1) by the more fully featured
listings at Lake Cumberland Trader.

The software running Trader is more efficient for classified listings. It is very easy to operate and negotiate, and there are many useful
features--
- There are few limitations on what can be posted or by whom. The limits, which are described on Trader on the "Policies" page, are mostly
illegal items.
- There is a powerful and fast Search feature.
- You don't have to register to post an ad. All you need is to enter a password so you can edit or delete it yourself, if that is ever desired.
- All ads automatically delete themselves after 60 days, reducing the clutter of out-of-date ads.
- You can include up to three photos per ad, and the software automatically inserts them for you.
- You can quickly see all the ads posted by an individual.
- You can mark ads as "favorites" to keep close track on them.
- There are full instructions and info available.
- Trader is the primary online classified ads site for some of the most active area web sites, including newspapers and radio. It will grow into a
larger viewership than the already huge numbers viewing on lakecumberland.com
All the listings on the old Trading Post section have been deleted. Some of these went back to 2003 and were obviously very out of date.
