Accident at Poker Run


Just heard WP page out 2 Russell Co. EMS to respond to Jtown ramp. A boat has flipped. pos. catamaran, with at least two people being injured. CPR was being performed on first subject, while WP was transporting the second with broken bones and possible back injuries. :(

Heard EMS talking to hospital, said 1st patient had quite a bit of water in lungs...second patient possible broken fibia and scalpia. Est. speed was 110-120 mph. Air evac was canceled. ProVle
By viewing Conley webcam only 3-4 have showed up.

VHF Channel 24 is reporting the poker run is indefinitely "cancelled" (stopped), with the afternoon session likely to be cancelled.

We were in view of the crash and it was violent. Boat seats were floating along with misc pieces of boat hull.

We heard on VHF that the boat stationed at Camp Earl Wallace to handout cards, said it was cancelled.
