Welcome to the forum and GHD Sara, wish you the best,
Want to ask a question, is it at all possible the Golf cart parking could be expanded alittle? If the parking spaces for the vehicles could be moved
back one space it would help tremendously.
We were down this past weekend and some lady was actually standing in a parking spot for her golf cart we asked her if we could park there she said
"no she was waiting for her husband to arrive with there golf cart" I thought how rude...

Read the other thread about golf carts on the county roads - they are going to ticket if they catch you driving down.

I am asking Sara to post this for me.
As you now know, we have retained Miss Sara to act as GHD’s Customer Service Representative. As with Suzanne, there is a lot to learn, so we would
ask your continued patience. Suzanne, however, had already worked at GHD for some time before undertaking the Customer Service Role, while Sara has
not. Thus, there is even more knowledge for Sara to acquire, than Suzanne.
We realize that there was some “lag” time between Suzanne and Sara’s assumption of that role. We believe that it takes a particular personality to
deal with customers, one that is cheerful and willing to assist others, and all the aspects of a nurturing and caring person. Frankly, not everyone
is suited to this task. We believe that you will find that Sara, like Suzanne, possesses these attributes and that our search for the “right” person
will be justified.
Sara, like Suzanne, is responsible for multiple other office tasks, all of which she must also learn. I know from out past experience with all of
you, that you will give her your support.

I don't really know the answer to this. I know that parking is tight in the peak season. Whether giving up one auto parking space is feasible. I
will run this by Allen and see what his take on this is.

Is the Golf cart parking area like Handicap parking where they get front row spots? If so, why?

It is the area where the push carts are kept, on the narrow steep part of the top of the ramp. If two more vehilces parked there it would make it
diffucult to unload and load the push carts from there.
There is room for several Golf carts to park in this area thus opening up regular parking spots for other's.
Most of the boaters that stay on their boats park just one time until they leave, the cart people come and go thru the day.

I have asked Suzanne to post this for me. Sorry it was not sooner – out of town due to a son’s surgery.
To All Our Very Valued Customers and Our Outstanding Crew:
In our recent tornado winds and resulting damage, several things came to light that warrant comment.
Firstly, our installation of the early warning system proved to be a wise investment. We trust that those of you who are at GHD when the alarm
sounds, will take advantage of the fact that the lobby is open 24/7 and use this as a safe haven.
This office, (John, Brian, Kristin and myself) have long known that we were blessed with an outstanding crew. Warm and friendly, these Staffers have
proven their competence many times over. From this incident, we can now see the full measure of their dedication and courage. Again, our gratitude
to our staff.
We have now seen the extent of the service provided by our able Insurance broker, Mike Davis, of Davis and Associates. Upon learning of the damage,
he was willing to, immediately, drive to GHD, with cameras to assist our staff in assessing the damage. He arranged the fastest inspection by a
claims service that I have ever witnessed. His service is much appreciated.
And lastly, but certainly not least, to our Customers. Our heartfelt thanks for your cooperation and understanding in this serious time. Many of our
Customers worked with others to assist in preserving property, communicating with other customers and giving encouragement to our staff. You are
valued and appreciated.
Thank you all,
Berta

Welcome aboard, Sara. Are all concerns/requests to be directed through you? The reason I ask is to make it as simple as possible to get an answer. For
example, if I have a question about something in the campground and a question about an indivdual slip, do I direct my concerns about both through you
or is there some kind of organizational plan with certain indivduals who can answer questions or address conerns directly? Thanks for a response.

You can bring all of your questions and concerns to me, if I do not know I will find out for you.
Regarding the golf carts- Allen just returned from expanding that area- we did not take up any parking spaces. Golf carts are to park in designated
areas at the old ramp they are first come first serve. Parking spots are for vehicles, we provide an excellent shuttle service from 7am – 9pm just by
stopping at the desk or ship store we can have someone pick you up to go up or down the hill.
