Don, I have a 28 foot Marinette inboard, single screw. Light weight aluminum boat. 10.5' beam. Thinking about restoring it, but I have so much in
the boat now as it is. I need a trailer. I'll never recoup the money on this project. If you come across a decent old trailer, tandem would be
fine enough.... give me a haller. U2U me... whatever. Thanks Don. Scott

I have the trailer that came out from under the boat that burned over in Fishing Creek in the fall. It is good to 29' and will carry 8000 pounds. I
have $3k in it.
I have sold about 60 trailers per year for the last 3 years, but I have only had this size one used on the lot twice, to give you an idea of how hard
they are to come by.

Wondering if the bunks can be modified to fit the Marinette as it is a single screw?

That is where an adjustable aluminum trailer really shines. It can be adjusted to fit.
Steel painted trailers are a pain for this reason exactly.
This one.... I would guess your strut and prop would actually end up a foot or so behind the bunks, in order to make the weight distribution correct
with the placement of the axles.
Right now I have my 26' Shamrock Pilothouse towboat sitting on it. That boat has a straight inboard and a full 15" keel. Because it is not a stern
drive boat, more of the weight is forward, so I have that boat on there about 4' from touching the winch stand in order to accommodate the keel and
have the balance about right.

Well, another load of new trailers has arived. I currently have tandem axle boat trailers on the ground for 18' through 28' boats and a triple axle
for up to a 31 footer.
Call for pricing and specs.
Next load will be in about 30 days or so.

We have several sizes of new boat trailers in stock and ready to go.
Don't forget we also do repairs and service work. Everything from bunk replacement to bearing service to axles/springs to upgrades and welding.
We even take trade ins.
Latest hot item we sell is "Poly-Glide" plastic bunk covers. These are 3 sided plastic bunk slicks that go over existing carpet on bunks to allow
VERY easy loading of boats, no more carpet being cut through and sun rotting and no more marking up of the boat's bottom.
They come available in 2X6, 2X4 and 3" for upright style bunks.

Greetings !!
I have a 1993 Sea Ray 250 Express cruiser that currently sits on a tandem shorlander roller trailer and have been thinking about purchasing a new bunk
trailer for it. I think that I would prefer an aluminum one. It will need brakes as well. What kind of ballpark price would we be talking about?
Do you happen to have any used trailers that would accomodate this boat? The boat weighs about 5000 lbs dry but I do carry a lot of gear so I am
thinking probably a trailer that would be rated for around 7500 lbs or so. Maybe a little bit higher.

I have a brand new 2011 Venture Trailers VATB-8400G in stock to fit that boat. It is rated to CARRY 8400 pounds of boat, fuel and gear and has a GVWR
of 10,000 pounds. It has surge disc brakes on one axle, 6 lug aluminum alloy mag wheels, target bunks to support the bow, DOT approved submersible
lighting, heavy duty tongue jack, 10,000 pound rated coupler, load range D 15" trailer duty tires, glavanized hardware and a two speed winch with
strap.
$3,900.00. Comes with a 2 year warranty from the manufacturer.
In stock on the lot in Jamestown.
I also have a small tri-axle for 8600 pounds, but it is probably overkill for your boat.
Nothing used currently in that size range. They do not come around all that often.
We can discuss a trade value on yours if you like as well.

These are fully adjustable trailers. The bunks can be moved in and out, up and down and even forward and back. The winch stand can be installed
anywhere on the 3' range of the tongue. Even the suspension undercarriage can be adjusted back and forth about 1', if need be.
They can be made to fit the boat about perfectly and have the correct tongue weight.
We can discuss trade price once I get a look at your trailer and probably not here in public.

Hey Don,
I have an interest in these. How do they attach? Is this something that I can do myself? My boat is always on the trailer unless it is in the water,
no dockage. Thanks

They attach to the side of your existing bunk board using stainless screws or even monel staples.
