45 y/o, married w/2 boys 22yrs old. Work for Chevron USA offshore, live in south Louisiana. Found LC on the net looking for houseboats to buy. Bought one 07/2006 @ ali1 and transported it to La. at end of year. We loved LC and the wonderful people and we thought really hard about keeping the boat there a few years but the 10hr drive each way was far too long so we are now enjoying the Casa Fiesta down on the La. coast. One interesting item is the people here that see the boat are always asking to tour it and we have directed them to the LC area marinas and boat brokers (my best friend went up there on 2/01/07 to look @ houseboats and he bought one), These types of houseboats are not common down here, but w/ all the intrest lately it's sure to grow. |
